Get to know Mike Bridgman
and how to create stunning websites.
See this handsome hunk over here? That’s Mike B and he just woke up. Mike’s the genius behind Sensophy’s new design and he just spent 10 days with me in Hawaii working on Sensophy and living the extraordinary life.
Remember how in “The Hidden Wisdom ‘The Real World’ Doesn’t Want You To Know,” we came to the conclution that when you’re able to communicate your dream to the right people, they help you achive it! Well Mike is a prime example of that. He was a regular Sensophy reader who hit me up 9 months ago and we’ve slowly developed a tightly-knit friendship (don’t tell the lady in Jamba-Juice though – she swears we’re half-brothers).
Mike recently took the plunge himself and left his comfy corporate gig in order to create his own extraordinay life. He took 4 weeks off of work to ride motorcycle across the country on dirt roads, and came to the realization that although he already has “job-location-independence” (the ability to work from wherever he wants), he now wants “job-schedule-independence” (the ability to work when he wants).
Just as he came to that conclustion, one of the administrators at Facebook found Mike’s blog and reached out to him to talk about a possible position for Mike. And here’s where Living On Purpose comes in. Although it sounds super prestigious to work for a company like Facebook, Mike made a “value distinction” and knew that if he took that job, he wouldn’t have the job-schedule-indepence which was one of his top values. Plus he has a bunch of other dope projects scheduled to come out over the next couple of months and he wanted the time to pour himself into those. So he turned down the job.
The project of his that i wanna introduce you to is called InstructWeb. The goal of the project is to take you from the basics of webdesign to being able to create your own stunning website. Sensophy is going to be one of his primary case studies and he’s creating a video-tutorial where you can watch the design of Sensophy happen from scratch. From what i understand, in the video he explains the psychology behind good design and shows you the specific steps you need to do to create your own successful website.
