Nothing but nasty thoughts for the Front Desk Princess. Not enough sleep plus slacking on my nutrition can turn this compassionate green tea sipper into a volatile cocktail concoction. Mix me up and I’m ready to blow.

So when I get into a four minute debate about the finicky functionality of the mother-loving front door, and she tells me “it’s fine,” I really start to resent the Front Desk Princess.

#7: Learning to forgive.

When I released Living On Purpose back in September, I did all I could think to widen the wisdom’s range of impact. One of the guest posts I published was a condensed version of 12 Things Happy People Do Differently, which takes a scientific look at how to be happy.

Well, 5 months later, that article has been shared over 100,000 times on Facebook!!! How insanely surreal. That’s why people who tell me to be “realistic” really fart in my elevator.

And after so many peeps have read the report, and dug it enough to share it with friends/fam on FB, I still harbored slight feelings of hatred toward the Front Desk Princess. Her entitlement was eating at my epidermis, her care-free “fuckoff-ness” was gnawing at my mind.

I checked myself. Remember #7! FORGIVE. And as usual, irony was intact. I was in right in the middle of redesigning this exact report:

“When you hate someone, and you’re continuously thinking about it, those negative emotions are eating away at your immune system.  It helps to keep in mind that when you forgive someone, you are really doing *yourself* the favor, not them.”

This wisdom is so powerful. That’s why it’s been shared so many times. It applies to ALL people regardless of age, gender, class, race, or circumstance. It applies to me, applies to the Front Desk Princess, and most of all right now, it applies to you!

Today I’m thrilled to rerelease 12 Thing Happy People Do Differently. It’s slightly updated and completely redesigned. If you dig it, please hit the Facebook/Twitter icons in the report to share it. It’s a win/win/win/win situation. 🙂

Moving on, which seems to be my modus operandi these days. What does it feel like to be on the road so far?

DOPE!

Despite my location remaining up in the air, I feel incredibly grounded. How you like that paradox playa?! 🙂 I attribute my grounding to living on purpose and knowing, no matter my location, my heart is at home in Sensophy. I’m on my path. BOOM (sha-ka-la-ka, sha-ka-la-ka)!

When I booked this trip, I didn’t know anyone in any of the places I choose to hit up. But since I’ve been in San Diego, I’ve met up with about 8 people – from inspiring entrepreneurs, to friends of friends of friends of strangers.

And although one of my best friends has decided to meet me in LA next week, and a sexy feminist philosopher will be joining me too, the most exciting news is that my 70 year old pops is flying 20+ hours to meet his boy in Bangkok for a week!!!

None of this would have happened if I didn’t take a leap of faith and lead the way.

So, the schedule’s looking like this: LA in 1 week from now. Japan in 2. And Thailand in 3. If you’re in any of those places at any of those times, come kick it with your boy!! 🙂

And in the meantime, check out 12 Thing Happy People Do Differently, and if you dig it, it’d mean a lot to me if you’d share it!

Your boy,

on purpose,

Jacob 🙂
