Research done involving identical twins separated at birth shows that about 50% of our happiness is determined by our genetics. Another 10% of our happiness comes from our life circumstance. But a HUGE 40% of our happiness comes from our behavior. 

Studies conducted by positivity psychologist Sonja Lyubomirsky point to 12 things happy people do differently.
